This course aims to enhance the skills of GDC registered Dental Nurses within their practice. It comprises 10 units covering topics such as blood sugar monitoring, blood pressure measurement, the physical and mental impact of diet on dental health, smoking and alcohol support, well-being, dental products, and the dental health and well-being of future generations.
The course is conducted online with comprehensive tutor support.
While there is no exam for this course, one practical day with a tutor is mandatory. Practical days are scheduled at various locations nationwide throughout the year, or they can be arranged at your practice for an additional fee.
Each unit concludes with an assignment.
