Molar Mentoring Ltd offer a 12–18-month course, where students attend lessons, via our online dedicated student platform. Live lesson sessions are also provided twice a month. These are delivered live, two evenings per month via Zoom (outside surgery hours, so no disruption to the working day).
The qualification consists of workplace assessments, online Record of Experience coursework and student studies on the Molar education platform, attending live lesson sessions and two formal examinations, one multiple-choice and one practical (osce).
We can offer support to students in gaining employment as a trainee dental nurse if they are not already employed when joining the course. Students can stay on course, with no extra charges, for as long as they need in order to find a suitable placement.
The cost of the course, including all the student's examination fees, materials, digital textbooks and 24/7 support (for students and their practices) is £1900. Fees can be paid in interest-free instalments, making this course accessible to everyone. Once the course is completed, the student can apply to the GDC for registration.
