Heidi Grimwood RDN PTTLS A1 AET GDC 176394

We pride ourselves on looking after each and every student from the moment they join our course. We can help them gain employment, we fully support them through their qualification, and we will be there when they need us, even after they qualify.

Heidi is based in our head office in Spalding in Lincolnshire. With over 30 years of experience in the dental industry, Heidi started working as a trainee dental nurse whilst also doing her A-levels. With her college days over, Heidi then found employment in an NHS practice and taught herself the dental nursing syllabus in order to qualify with the NEBDN in 1997.

She has worked in hospitals, prisons, walk-in centres, orthodontic and surgical practices. Now with over 10 years of experience teaching the NVQ and National Diploma for dental nurses, Heidi's passion for dentistry and teaching led her to establish Molar Mentoring in 2016, where she leads a team of qualified dental nurse tutors.

Course Coordinator/Welfare and Wellbeing Officer

I am proud to be part of the Molar Mentoring team and pride myself on offering our students the best support I possibly can.

Marisa is based in Brighton. Marisa began her dental career, training as a dental nurse and receptionist in 2001. She qualified in 2003 with the NEBDN. After working as a dental nurse, receptionist and practice manager in various locations, Marisa then went on to become a qualified trainer/assessor in 2014. Marisa joined Heidi at Molar Mentoring in 2019.

Marisa is also our dedicated welfare officer at Molar Mentoring. Providing support for both students and practices.

Marisa, along with Heidi is spearheading a The Molar Mindset. A non-profit platform for the health and wellbeing of all Dental Nurses.

Kelly Woodward

Recruitment Coordinator –
Radiography Tutor

Kelly joined Molar Mentoring in 2021 and is based in Somerset. She has a wealth of Dental experience, working in multifaceted Dental Practices. She is fully qualified as a GDC registered Dental Nurse and also has her Implant and Radiography qualifications.

Kelly is our recruitment coordinator and our qualified Radiography tutor for our BDA Radiography Course.

Claudette Murrell RDN
Coursework Mentor

Claudette joined Molar Mentoring for 2022, she is based in Milton Keynes. Claudette is a fully qualified GDC registered Dental Nurse, with over 30 years of experience is many different dental settings.

Claudette brings a wealth of experience and knowledge and will be supporting the Molar students with the marking of their ROE- Record of Experience.

Nicole Adamson RDN

Dental Nurse Tutor and
Coursework Coordinator

Nicole lives and works in Northern Ireland and is a GDC registered qualified Dental Nurse. Nicole supports the Molar students with the completion and marking of their ROE – Record of Experience. Nicole is also a very active Oral Health promoter and trainer with Mini Molars and throughout her local area and schools.

Trish Young

Dental Nurse Tutor and Coursework Mentor

Trish used to be in the RAF and upon leaving the Army took up a trainee Dental Nurse role at her local practice. She studied and past her NEBDN National Diploma with Molar Mentoring and has now become a mentor for the new trainees at Molar. She is now the Head Dental Nurse within her practice.

Cerys Curtis – Bridges

Cerys is a qualified GDC registered Dental Nurse, since passing all of this exams and course with Molar Mentoring. She works for a busy practice in her home town of Whittlesey. In her spare time, Cerys enjoys walking, water sports and fishing.

Xena is a qualified GDC registered Dental Nurse, since passing her exams with Molar Mentoring. She works for a corporate Dental service which provides NHS and Private treatments to patients. She also takes part in tang soo do in her spare time

Ben Wilton

Dental Nurse Mentor

Ben is a qualified GDC registered Dental Nurse, since passing all of this exams and course with Molar Mentoring. He also works for a corporate Dental Service, which provides NHS and Private care to the patients. In his spare time Ben takes part in Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and axe throwing.

Trish, Xena and Ben provide 24/7 support to the trainees via personal whats app groups. Giving invaluable knowledge on revision hints and tips, what to expect on the exam day, how to complete the coursework and general advice on what other courses can be completed after qualification.

For anyone wanting to be a dental nurse I really can't recommend Molar Mentoring enough. The support I have received so far during my course is amazing. The true epitome of a good teacher...

Heidi SAVED my dental nursing career by taking me on after I was messed about by another course provider. She educated me properly and taught me what I needed to know to qualify. I have a chronic health condition and her support has been immense. She is so understanding and helpful and goes above and beyond for her students, and this is shown in the way she delivers her sessions (engaging and entertaining lessons - not boring one bit) and the communication she has with everyone (always checking in on me). I never felt alone from start to finish during my course and if I have qualified today it is all thanks to her. The true epitome of a good teacher and definitely the only course provider out there worth investing in. I regret not coming here first but glad I finished and qualified with Molar Mentoring. I couldn't recommend Molar Mentoring enough...

As my journey with Molar Mentoring continues I could not recommend then enough. As covid hit and all had to be changed, Heidi and the rest of the support team at Molar Mentoring change their ways but still delivered education. The lessons are so helpful and support is always available throughout the lessons. All of the tutors at Molar are always their to support with any questions or even if you just need a chat.
